Rodrigo Escobar

Rodrigo is Head of Unit for European Affairs at OMIE (Iberian Nominated Electricity Market Operator). He represents OMIE in the NEMO Committee and in the joint steering committee with TSOs. Previously he worked in the Electricity Department of the Spanish National regulatory Authority, Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC) in Madrid, Spain. During that time, he was member of the ACER and CEER Electricity Working Groups. His main areas of interest are energy policy and market integration.
